Our story
ChalloNorthEast grew out of years of grassroots exploration across Northeast India, to bridge the gap between travellers looking for authentic experiences and local communities eager to share their heritage. The region's biodiversity and cultures deserve responsible tourism that leaves a lasting, positive impact.
What we do
- Tours: curated itineraries, from misty Meghalaya canyons to the high-altitude monasteries of Arunachal.
- Rentals: well-maintained bikes, including Royal Enfield Himalayans, and vehicles with or without a driver, from Dibrugarh.
- Stays: homestays and camps run together with local hosts.
- Academic excursions: structured field modules for schools, colleges and universities.
How we work
- Community first: fair revenue models for local homestays, guides and transport providers.
- Sustainable travel: routes planned around carrying capacity and biodiversity, with low-impact travel in sensitive areas.
- Transparent and safe: clear pricing and safety-first operations for rentals and tours.
Where we operate
We are active in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh: from Kaziranga to the living root bridges and Tawang Monastery. Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram are next on our roadmap.
